I have been watching alot of NBA playoffs this year, I think its as entertaining a post season as the NBA has had in a long time. (this despite the absence/horror that is my NY Knicks).

I can not believe how good Dirk has gotten, he has taken dramatic steps this year. He is just dominate at this point, and is finally going inside on occasion. I dont know who on the Heat is going to gaurd him. i usually hate any team from Dallas by default, but I have to admit i have been rooting for them since the San Antonio series.

I agree he has looked almost like a different player in the playoffs

Remember the days when he was called "irk", as in "no D". He's a better all around player. One I think of is Tracy McGrady. WTF has he done? Nowitski's passed him IMO.

Dirk is pretty amazing... the night of 50-12 was sick.

He will be playin alot better of a defense than the Suns when playing the Heat... but there is no "stopping" Dirk... maybe just slowing him down. He definatly wont put up a game of 50-12 though.

The Heat are going to throw a couple of people at him. Mostly Posey and Haslem... with a little of Walker. Expect some double teams though.

They Heat have no one that can match up with Dirk. Granted they are much better defensively than the Suns, but so is San Antonio. Dirk scorched the Spurs, there is no reason to believe he cant play as well against he Heat.

Hurls i think his D is definatly improving he had a critical block at the end of game seven in the Spurs series that is ignored, but he isnt exactly Duncan at that end. He doesnt have to be though as a team they have vastly improved at defense this year.

I dont know who will win but the finals should be fun to watch

Ya... Dirk is pretty much a mismatch vs. any team in the league. There arnt many 7ft tall perimiter players...

I'm watching game four and Dirk is playing like crap - the same way he played in game 1 along with Howard. I've been cheering for the Mav's for years and this is extremely annoying watching them brick most of their shots. Dirk isn't playing like an MVP caliber player - at least Wade & Nash gave it their all even when they were hurting.

Right now Muggsie Boggs could guard Dirk, with the way Dirk is playing.
