I would start talking draft, but I'll be honest, I dont know anything about anyone in the draft.

I would talk free agency, but I dont want any other players. I like our team.

You know, if we this impatient, imagine what the players are feeling, being so close with a depleted corps. It might help in resigning some of the FAs on this team, and it would make the younger guys even hungrier now that they had a taste. Good signs, I would think.

Yeah, this has been a really difficult weekend. If the finals started over the weekend or something, it might've been better, but...ugh...it's been tough.

On Friday I spent a good chunk of the day listening to WGR for some closure but today there's just nothing going on...nothing on TV to distract me...it's raining like a sonuvabitch...and all the friends and family are away for the weekend.

As hard as I try, I just can't stop thinking about what could have been. If McKee were healthy, I think we would've won game 7. Amazing that the team's fate was probably decided by microscopic bacteria.

So...what now? Root for the Oilers to destroy Carolina and hope that Sabres' management is able to keep the team together for next season. ...and try not to slit your wrists while waiting for the 06-07 season to start.
