Here are a few things I think we have to stop.

* We have to stop blaming God. I'm sure the Almighty has better things to do than to pick on a city's two sports teams.
* Enough with the redneck thing. We're better than that. I know I'm from out of town, but it makes Western NY look small when we rip on a city because their team squeaked by our injury-ravaged team.
* Ignore the trolls. Notice they say nothing when the Sabres are on a roll, but they come out of the floor boards when we lose. Taking the bait is a waste of our time and just encourages them.

We had a good run. Circumstances beyond anyone's control did the boys in. The Sabres have something to build upon. Let's leave it at that and avoid the Gr. 2 stuff, ok?

Just like the Cubs fans who blame the Billy Goat,Steve Bartman,et al for why they can't win the World Series...when in fact,it's the team that can't get it done. I'm sure you didn't hear the Southside of Chicago bitch and moan about not winning the big one either until last year.
