How many of you guys like Styx here? I think they're great. I love tons of their songs. "Renegade" is my favorite. I also love "Too Much time on my hands", "Fooling yourself," and "Bule collar man". Plus who doesnt love Mr. Roboto? They always put on a great show.

Styx is going to be playing this Saturday May 27th at 7:30pm at Darien Lake. It's Styx and Foreigner for only like 15$ lawn seats. Awesome deal. Hell, Styx alone is worth the 15$. I know Im going for sure, eSabre's going too. Anyone else planning on going?

I saw Styx back in the day. The are great in concert. I saw them in concert when they were promoting there album Mr. Roboto at Madison Square Garden.


Tommy Shaw is great. One of the best concerts I have ever been to.

First... Dennis DeYoung isn't with Styx and Lou Graham isn't with Foreigner. (as far as I know) It won't be the same. Roboto was the beginning of the end for Styx. Too campy.

Shut up mister snooty R&B guy. It was my era and they were the hottest band. Persoanl favorites now. cracker (not uncle) and wilco. I also like all of World Party's stuff.

Been there done that. They're a good show (at least 3 years ago). You'll have a good time unless it's snowing, like today.

Snooty? An R and B guy? Never.

Styx was my era too, the kings of the synthesizer era. I actually liked 'em for a few months, until I realized I could probably make the same music with a fun maker organ.

But as to R and B, I didn't start listening to traditional blues until about 10 years or so ago. But the stuff I liked the most growing up, (the Stones, Clapton, a little southern rock, Hendrix, even CCR), I never realized just how much the blues had of an influence on it.

Its all in what you like. Get yourself a Muddy CD sometime, I bet you'd like it.

Can't wait. Should be a beautiful night at Darien Lake. This will be my 4th time seeing Styx, and first Foreigner show.
