In the cup series. we would be the higher ranked team no matter who we play. Does that equal to home ice for the Sabres?? Cannot remember if NHL switches home ice for finals?

Yep, that would equal home ice for the Sabres, but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.

Yeah we'll have home ice , but let's not get ahead of ourselves...We have to take care of the Canes or Devils before we talk about Cup Finals

agree - just couldnt remember- I thought right but had to confirm. But if that isnt additional incentive for the Sabres!! WOW

Yep, if we make it to the Stanley Cup Sabres will have home ice. Gotta love that!!

They should have home is for the next round if you ask me, we finishe second in the conference with most points.

Nope,jw....fourth in the conference.

Carolina was second.

The Devils were third.

Ergo...no home ice in the next round. :(

Third in points though is what he was saying.

I go back and forth on the division champions rule... This year I hate it.

On a year when we win our division and pass up someone with more points, I'll love it. ;)

I prefer to have Buffalo start on the road...I think there's less pressure when you're goal is to win just 1 game out of the first 2 in the opposition's building. It worked out pretty well against Ottawa and we'll do the same thing against whoever we face in the next round.

Let's GO Buffalo!!!
