I cannot believe how this guy has played. I don't think any other team will have as many shots on goal as Ottowa had. He stood up to the task basically every game even when the Sabres played like crap (last game). He is the man and I would not want to have any other goalie playing for this team !!!!

Ryan Miller will be a star in the NHL for years to come. I am so happy he is on our team.

I don't want to get ahead of anything but we are the best team playing right now. I can almost feel the cup in my own hands.

Miller made huge saves at key times tonight. Truely deserves the #1 star. My only worry now is that the team will have 5-6 days before another game. Hopefully Lindy keeps them focused.

Uh, there's a guy named Bryzgalov that's been having a pretty good run, you know. Does 0.87 GAA ring a bell? Still, Miller has won his first 4 OT playoff games. This couldn't be better for his development. I was a little worried which way he was going to go after those first two games in Philly. Pat Roy became Pat Roy largely because of what happened in his rookie year of 1986 (10 straight OT wins). Some of those Roy didn't really have to work hard for; they got quick goals by Skrudland and Clod Lemieux, Sabres are getting them from Drury and Dumont and Poms. Still, once he got that mystique of a big-game goalie, the pressure reversed from being on him to being on his opponents. Another good OT or two and at least one of those talking heads is going to start mentioning it about Miller.

My favorite stat so far:

Emery's career OT playoff save percentage: .250 (4 shots, 3 goals). Ottawa fans feel confident with making him their #1? :)

I was just going to say the same thing about Bryzgalov...nice post!

Actually Ralonzo, the ten straight overtime victories for Roy and the Canadiens was in 1993.

You are right. I am teh suck, and must make the post of shame to acknowledge my lack of clue.

I do so gladly in hope that those who follow me will have more clue.

No sarcasm, this is legit. I must take the walk of shame.
