View Full Version : I'm afraid to watch!

Seriously, it's been my experience that when I either can't watch or decided not to watch a Bills/Sabres game when it starts, they invariably end up winning.

The longer into the game I go without turning on it on, the better those odds get.

Having said that, as my way of trying to improve the chances of victory tonight, I'm not going to turn the game on until I think it is well into the 3rd period.

If we lose, you can't say I didn't try, if we win, it's all my doing.

You'll be glad you're not watching. I have the invoice showing how much I paid for my TV taped right underneath it, to prevent me from punching it, because of the ludicrous officiating.

BTW...for those who wonder how I knew they won...they just blew up the bar across the street from me. I took that as a good sign.

Sweet, thanks.

Yes it's a weird situation, I'm not saying it happens 100% of the time, but it does more often then not.

Oh...I've gone to two playoff games, we won both in OT.

So it's safe for me to watch the games I can get tickets too, but the ones on TV I have to wait until the middle of the 3rd period.

If it means a Cup win, I'm more then happy to play this game of superstition.
