Does it ever dawn on any of you guys that the Sabres have not received an ounce of respect throughout the playoffs?

All I ever hear on ESPN now is how Ottawa is not playing there game, Emery is playing like crap, blah blah blah

Melrose never gives credit to the sabres when its due and its getting to be very frustrating continously watching this night in and night out..

But I don't listen to ESPN bullshit anyway

Dude, don't let it bother you. The ONLY time that I have ever seen Buffalo teams get respect was the Bills from 1989 to 1991.

Yet another reminder....

Just went to www.espn.go.com and on the front page was a picture of Emery saying "A Ray of Light". Now i'm not 100% positive, but i don't remember Buffalo getting face time after any of their 3 wins this series.

I asked this last week, who cares about getting respect from anyone else. Why is the perception of others always so friggin' important to people. The way I see it I could care less.

Personallly, I love being the underdog. LOVE IT!

No pressure, no expectations -- just shock when we play dominating hockey. Gives the guys something to play for.

Why does everyone keep saying that we get no respect!!! Thats all the national announcers talk about during the game is what a great season the sabres have had. And they are right. Emery is blowing!! The Sens have outplayed us this series, but their goalie is blowing the series.
