The fact that tonight's National Lacrosse League East Division final is at HSBC Arena is good news for the Buffalo Bandits. Or is it?
The Rochester Knighthawks, who will try to derail Buffalo's hopes for a first championship since 1996 when the whistle blows at 7:30 p.m. (Radio 1520 AM), have been more at home in the joint than the hometown Bandits. At least in the postseason.
"We fought all year to get the home field for this game," said Bandits captain Rich Kilgour. "Now it's up to us to defend it. We know we didn't do a very good job of it last year but it's a different season."
If they are to advance to their second Champion's Cup final in three years, the Bandits (12-5) must reverse what has become a frustrating playoff trend against the Knighthawks (10-7).

I can't wait for tonights game. It seems like the old days when the Bandits were expected to win each game and there was no doubt in anyones mind.
Time to give the Knighthawks their first playoff lose in HSBC Arena.
