Put him down like a dog. Didn't even look like he was trying. Either Justice is that good (he is the one I'm hoping we take) or Ngata is a defensive fat Mike (of course it was only one play).

Thats tough but early on I heard he can disappear at times which means hes not a every down DT so hes a waste at 8th overall

Almost all DTs disappear for stretches. They are soooo big that they just can't help it. This is why most teams now are going with a rotation at DT to keep these big guys fresh.

Pat Williams disappeared for long stretches, but we'd love to have him back. Sam Adams was frequently invisible, but would flash great plays on occasion.

Someone on a message board recently reminded readers that Bryant McKinnie owned Dwight Freeney when Miami played Syracuse. Being badly beaten in one game does not necessarily serve as a predictor of future NFL productivity.

The Eagles are a team that drafts very well, with that being said they like Ngata a lot. The Eagles rarely ever miss on a pick and if they are that high on Ngata I bet he is a great player. They are the ones that took McNabb when other said they shouldnt, and they also didnt take Culpepper because he did not have big enough hands in there opinion, and we all know that Culpepper has a fumbling problem. The Eagles are a smart organization, and Ngata will be a good player.

I hope that we take Ngata with #8. Difference between Ngata and Bunkley is Bunkley will be a good DT in the NFL similar to Pat Williams. Ngata if he stays exactly the way he is will be similar to Sam Adams (minus the big gut). Ngata is by far the better run stuffer (something Buffalo needs), and he has by far the greatest upside potential.

I like Bunk way more, but Sam was the penetrater, Pat stopped the run.
