8. Buffalo: A.J. Hawk, LB, Ohio State
Knowing that one player won't fix the many holes they have on both sides of the ball, the Bills would love to trade down for additional picks. Barring that, they would be thrilled if, in staying put, they had a chance to select an enormously talented athlete who has a phenomenal work ethic and who would be a perfect weakside starter in Dick Jauron's new 4-3 defense. Many other projections have them selecting Brodrick Bunkley, a defensive tackle from Florida State, but this spot seems a little too high for him. Safety-cornerback Michael Huff, from Texas, is another consideration.


What is most interesting with his mock, is Bunkley isn't even in the first round.

I'm not crazy about Bunkley or Ngata. I'd rather we trade down and take Justice and use the additional picks we acquire to take a DT.

usually people who forget to add one of the best players in the 1st round is people I usualyl don't take seriously.

Also, I don't think Packers take a TE. They gave big money to Bubba Franks. He's not Davis, but they already have big money committed there and they have bigger needs. They will take Hawk.

IF and that is a big IF they pass on Hawk and actually do take Davis

No chance in hell SF passes on Hawk for Ngata. I guarantee that.

I like Carruci's stuff usually, but this mock is just dumb, especially the top 10.

If we get Hawk, you release Fletcher and put Crowell in the middle with Spikes and Hawk on the outsides.

if we do get Hawk he will take over for posey at OLB...and there is no way we should bench Fletcher...like him or not he is a good LB and part of the core of this team
