Game 5 will be on NBC (nationwide if Colorado wins tonight) and will be presented in Universal High Definition.

The announcers will be Mike Emrick, former Sabre Peter McNab and Cammi Granato.

I can't wait to see some sabres in HI DEF. Just got a brand new 50 inch plasma and I have been dying to see them in hi-def.

I just hope Comcast keeps up that internet feed. I hate that monopolizing overpriced corporation, but got to give them props for the live internet stuff.

Go Colorado! I get NBC in hi-def on my DLP set, and I'm sure we won't get that game in this market otherwise.

WGRZ-TV Channel 2 will be having a half-hour pre-game show starting at 1:30 pm ET on Sunday afternoon. Not sure if WGRZ-TV Channel 2 will be televising the first ninety minutes of the National Heads-up Poker Tournament (and air the last half-hour sometime Monday morning) or if they will instead televise ninety minutes of info commercials from 12:00 pm ET to 1:30 pm ET and then televise the full two hours of the poker sometime early Monday morning. (My guess the latter would be a much better situation.) No word if they plan on doing a post-game show when NHL on NBC coverage ends. (Why not? You bother doing a pre-game show and screw up NBC's coverage of the Poker - why not do a post-game and screw up NBC's coverage of the Penn Relays.)

According to the Buffalo News, looks like we are getting Edmonton at Detroit on Saturday afternoon on NBC instead of New Jersey at New York. Guess they are going for what should be a better game over a possible sweep and a preview to a possible second round opponent for Buffalo. Don't blame them although I would rather New Jersey at New York on NBC since we are getting Edmonton at Detroit on CBC anyway.

Edit: Now I went on msnbc.msn.com website and they have Buffalo down for New Jersey at New York - oh well!

Updates: According to their website, WGRZ will be televising paid programs from 12:00 pm ET to 1:30 pm ET. The National Heads-Up Poker Tournament that was supposed to be televised from 12:00 pm ET to 2:00 pm ET will now be shown at 11:30 pm ET (to 1:30 am ET) Sunday evening.

Well Colorado couldn't sweep Dallas so the Philadelphia-Buffalo game will have some company on NBC this Sunday at 2:00 pm ET. The Buffalo News still lists Edmonton at Detroit for NBC this afternoon at 3:00 pm ET. Hoping thats wrong and we get New Jersey at New York - so we have two games to choosen from to watch. (We get Edmonton at Detroit already on CBC as I previously mentioned.)

Where do you get this? Never mentioned Sabres won't be on. Game #5 will be on WGRZ-TV Channel 2 (our NBC channel here in Buffalo, NY) at 2:00 pm ET on Sunday with a local pre-game show at 1:30 pm ET.
