They were dicussing where Cutler was going, and the field reporter mentioned - Cardinals and Lions with the Rams having no need for him. Then he added that owner Ralph Wilson is high on Cutler and likes him, and is trying too convince management to pick him. After that the ESPN home analyst said " WOW two 1st round Qb's in 2 years" - The field reporter bascially agreed but said ' The past is the past, if your gonna rip off that band-aid do it quickly!" - Sound like Ralph is pushing his way. And with the rumor of the extra first rounder?? There may be something to that report on both sides , the trade and the pick. I am horrible with these names so sorry but was on ESPN

Unfortunately, we already "suck" with the Quarterbacks of last year, most notably Losman.

I'm starting to think that there is some fire w/ this Cutler smoke being thrown up

So would that mean the Bills are trying to sell JP to Chicago for its No. 1 (as a part of some package at least)?

I doubt it, they have Grossman and Orton(sp). Plus Griese as a vet
If we do draft Cutler it will be interesting to see what the Bills do w/ Losman. My first guess would be that they would try and trade him for a draft pick or maybe by drafting Cutler they are trying to get a Drew Brees reaction out of Losman

Thats all we need is a QB who had like 11 wins in his college career. Bring his winning tradtion here! /SARCASM

Does anybody what kind of signing bonus the 8th overall gets? I can't find Antrell Rolle's salary anywhere and i figure it will be about 10% higher than that...
The reason I want to know is because it seems like a lot of money to spend on another QB.
I think we should only draft a QB in the 3rd or later. There's no pressure to start right away, no QB controversy, and you don't set the team and the cap back if the guy is bust
I'd much rather have Ngata, Huff or Bunkley and then draft Croyle, Clemens or Jacobs later

If Ralph starts meddling, he's going to start inspiring people to hope for his death.

What do you mean "start" inspiring?
