How does the sigining of Reyes effect us in the draft?

Do we still go after a O-line in early rounds or are you happy with the O-line and use late round picks for back-up?

D-Line choice seems like a lock now. I still wish we could get Huff but D-line might be the right call can`t argue either.Reyes signing will have a big impact on our choice.

On the contrary . . .I think that this signing frees us up to take best available with our 1st and 2nd round picks . . . we can select DT in any of the first three rounds, and be okay. IMO.

I still think we are taking a guard on the first day

I just dont think we will take more than 2 the whole draft now

I also think the Tackle posistion becomes more important I look for the Bills to grab Whitworth/McNeil/Winston in the 2nd

I still think we will adress the Dline, Oline, and Secondary all on day one.

1st round Ngata or Huff

2nd Bing or Whitworth/ best OT avaible ... or DT if we go Huff, but I dont see a DT i take in the 2nd

3rd Watkins, and Orien Harris or Stanley Mclover be perfect in my eyes

First pick we take best available, I'm thinking huff or vernon davis. Second pick we trade back into first round with bears and take oline or DT. Third pick we use to draft jerious norwood. Then we draft a slew of DT's and olinemen with a CB mixed in there

i don't think this signing changes anything about who or how we draft. Reyes is a decent player, but he is not the longtern answer for the position. He provides very good depth, and competiion to current OL players.

Bottom line . . . . this offseason has been spent wisely IMO. We've actually addressed pieces of this team that have been really weak for a long time. We can actually spend this draft picking guys we can use, rather than desperation picks to shore up major holes. Don't get me wrong, we stil have holes, but we've picked up substantial depth at positions where desperation would have occured. Fowler, Reyes, Gibson, Triplett . . . all good moves. Cheers to Marv . . .so far!! Keep it up!

before the Reyes signing I wanted the Bills to draft 6 lineman, now they can draft 1 less Guard: 1 Guard, 1 Tackle, 2 DTs and 1 DE. With the other picks I'd like to see 1 Safety, 1 CB, 1 LB, 1 WR and 1 RB. However, I wouldn't mind a few diversions if someone drops.

yeah, I'd agree that we'd still go after one of the guards in the second. I don't know if they'll touch McNeill with that spinal stenosis thing. Years ago, when Derrick Burroughs was diagnosed with it, the Bills cut him, saying it wasn't worth the risk to him, or them.

What he said. Although I would go 3 DT's (one late second day) and more DB (you never known when you might get lucky).

I agree w/ you on McNeil, I really dont want him

I think any athlete who has a history of back problems at a young age is someone you want to stay away from

But the Bills might take a chance on him b/c if he didnt have that he would be a 1st rounder. I'd pass though

PFW insider says he has a bum knee too and that some teams see it as more serious than his back.

Gabe Watson is not a 4-3 or a cover 2 DT

Just say no to Gabe Watson.

If we take Gabe Watson . . . he better be one of three DT's, that way WE can afford to have him choke. I think he's a lazy POS.

I haven't heard the knee news . . but I read up on the spinal condition that he has. It's actually a narrowing of the spine, which can never get better(obviously). This kid had an amazing college career, but I would be very hesitant picking someone like McNiel because of these injurie concerns. I personally think we'd be better of taking Winston in the 2nd.

I would not take Gabe Watson because he was benched for a good number of games because of lack of effort. I doubt that Levy would take him for that reason. :shake: McCargo is a better 2nd/3rd round space eater.
