It is very likely we will be going defense in the 1st round, unless Brick is available, and o-line in the 2nd. My question is---do you think we will pick a tackle or guard and how do you rate the 2nd round linemen?
There are a lot of good ones:
Tackle: McNeill, Winston, Colledge, Whitworth
Guard: Max Jean-Gilles, Deuce, Charles Spencer, Davin Joseph(most likely gone).
Personally I'd rate them Joseph, Deuce, McNeill, Winston but that is based mostly on scouting reports as I have not seen them in action. What do you think?

I think the big 3 tackles (Fergueson, Justice, and Winston) will all be gone. I don't like McNeil or Whitworth and feel that College is the only OT that will be left when were up in the 2nd worth the pick.
On the gaurd side all those players should still be there but I would stay away from Gilles and Duece. Spencer is a bit too high for me at this pick and Joseph is the only gaurd I think has value with our 2nd.
It comes down to College or Joseph, and I take Joseph in a heartbeat. The guy has the size, strength and also very important the athleticsm to be a successful starter in this leauge for years to come. Also he is versitile. He has experience at both his position gaurd and tackle.

Of the Tackles listed I would take Whitworth
Of the Guards listed I would take Joseph
Of those two I would take Joseph over Whitworth
I'm willing to bet Joseph wont be there and its a close race between Whitworth and Winston for the 3rd best tackle on the board. I prefer Whitworth

If we go DT in the first, then guard or OT in the second, floats my boat. With Reyes signing today (Thrusday), I've changed from guard to best OL available.

Considering we have ZERO solid OL, I can see us picking the best OL player available regardless of position. I could see us taking 1 OL or as many as 4.
We have needs all over the field, so as long as we come away with one OL player, and one DL player anything else works too.

I really like Colledge, but think he'll need at least a year working with McNally before he is ready to start. I also like Whitworth, but only at RT. I don't mind switching Peters over to the left side. I think with the Reyes signing, the Bills already have there starting 5 lineman. This pick is for next year. If Joseph is there you take him in a heartbeat. Lutui might be better suited on the Right side pushing Villareal if he is brought on.
After the Reyes signing, I now could also see them doing something other than o-line here. Hodge or D'Qwell, Greg Blue, Bullocks, Pollard, Daryl Tapp or Hali if he remarkably drops that far ?

Spencer from Pitt also looks like a cold city, gritty pit-bull of a guy. The various Draft Sites seem to have trouble deciding how good he is. I've seen him going high second round to 4th round. The only knock I can see on him is that he is smaller than some other guards, but he could bulk up some and maybe the other guards are slower....

The worry with Charles Spencer isn't that he's too small, in fact, its the opposite. He's 6'5 350lbs+ and might have a bit of a weight problem. Still, the real issue is that he is a former DL who has limited experience on the OL. I think he will be a third round pick and would be a good fit for the Bills as an eventual replacement for Villarial at RG.

I think the least of Spencers worries is his size
