if he drops :)

Good article

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Just because Marv Levy is a first-time NFL general manager doesn't mean the Hall of Fame coach isn't familiar with running a little misdirection leading up to the NFL draft.

"With the eighth pick in the first round, we're going to take Reggie Bush," he said with a wink..................

I know this is clearly a sarcastic statement, but if SOMEHOW (practically impossible) he slipped to 8, if he didn't draft him i'd throw in the towel on the bills and possibly on life

"Now we're not looking at going in to wheel and deal on the trade market, but we're sure not going to close it off," Levy said. "In fact, the guy we sort of like right now, my strong guess would be that he'll be there four spaces below."

My guess is hes talking about Bunkley and that also he really wants to start getting some offers to trade down

This comment makes it sound like Bunkley is the guy. Marv may just be trying to throw other teams off as to who we like, or may be trying to set up a trade, but Huff and Ngata most likely won't be around 4 spaces below where we draft.

He could be talking about either Bunkley or Justice. Both have the chance of being on the board at 11 and either one would address "an area of major concern".

good article. the only thing that gets me thinking is why does modrak still have a job with all the busts he and donahoe drafted together. and marv is leaning on him heavily?? does not make much sense. i sure hope that donahoe was pulling all of the strings for the past 5 years, and modrak will finally get a strong say in personnel.

The comment on Bush is tongue in cheek humor. The comment on the player the Bills sort of like being available 4 picks later is an invitation for the 4 teams below the Bills to start making trade offers. It's a pretty good strategy actually.

Just say no to Bunkley. Much rather have Justice or Ngata.

This totaly made me remeber the dream I had last night.

I over slept the draft and I woke up and asked my mom who we drafted and she said we traded up and drafted a Receiver and I went ape shit yelling They drafted a f'in Receiver!!!! over and over then thats it.
