I need to get my truck inspected, but I don't want to have an unnessecary repair to pass like the one shop tried to do to me last year. Anyplace I can go where they won't try to screw my checkbook?
Thanks

Maybe you need a DIShonest garage, Meridius -- one that will pass your vehicle without really inspecting it.

No kidding, Meridius -- back in my younger, outlaw days, that's how I was able to keep my ride on the road. I knew guys who would slap an inspection sticker on the window if you were able to drive it to the shop.

I dont mind paying for a repair if I really need it. I went to one place last year that gave me a huge list of things I "needed" so I went to a second place where all they said was wheel bearing.
Ironicly, the OTHER wheel bearing blew out a few months later.
I ended up getting an appt. with a dodge dealer for now.

Yeah itd be a good reality show.
well it turns out my little gas-guzzler neded more repairs than I could afford. I traded him in for 2005 Scion. I miss my truck, but wallet does not. I like the Scion, its very spiffy and comfy. Its like having a truck, but shorter o_o*
