Houston: Reggie Bush RB USC
No suprise here. All this talk about Williams or trading down is just crap talk. Bush landing in Bush country.
New Orleans: A.J Hawk OLB OHIO STATE
There is suprise that they like Hawk, but it will be a suprise when he goes this early. I think the Leinart and Williams talk is just that...talk. They want someone to trade up, and I don't think they will get the offers they like and will draft Hawk ehre.
Tennessee: Matt Leinart QB USC
Don't believe the Young hype talk. They just want to make sure Jets don't trade ahead of them to grab Leinart. If they wanted Young, they would have been treating McNair better, who would be a tutor to Young as much as they are friends. Leinart can step in immediately, so if McNair leaves, no biggie.
New York J: Mario Williams DE North Carolina Sate
Mangini is not going to pass on Williams. Fergusson would be the obvious pick here, but I think he falls, and Williams is just the perfect value here. Don't be suprised to see Oakland make a move up to draft Williams. If they want Young, they can wait for him at 7.
Green Bay: Halio Ngata DT Oregon
The packers will have as hard of a time deciding this pick as I did. They have wanted Hawk for some time, but for some reason I have heard they are really high on Ngata and will reach here a bit, but here is the big suprise if they stay, but there is a higher chance they will trade down to a team wanting either Davis or Fergusson
San Francisco: Vernon Davis TE Maryland
No suprise here. They need a big offensive weapon. Davis is a big offensive weaopon.
Oakland: Vince Young QB Texas
He fits in the Raiders organization too well for this pick to not be him. Davis likes the flashy big names, and Young passes the stupid test to play in Oakland.
Buffalo: D'Brickshaw Fergusson OT Virginia
I think he will slip and once he does, Marv will be very happy and he is going to be our LT for years to come.
Detroit: Michael Huff CB/FS Texas
If they don't draft Jackson or Holmes, Huff is their guy. They need a big defenive presense in the middle of the field and he will be drafted to play FS with Bryant and Bly at the corners.
Arizona: Jay Cutler QB Vanderbilt
This is the perfect pick for Atlanta. He is a QB with tons of talent coming into a up and coming organization with a vetern QB that will allow him a good 2 years to get ready. This makes sense.
St. Louis: Jimmy Williams CB Virginia Tech
They need a big corner to fill their secondary voids, and he is the best CB in the draft. He has great size, speed and is a pretty good tackler. They need this guy. They need a OLB too, but Williams is the pick here.
Cleveland: Brodrick Bunkley DT Florida State
Romeo is in love. They've wanted Bunkley for some time and they will be suprised that they would be able to land him without trading up, unless someone trades up in front of them.
Baltimore: Kamerion Wimbley OLB Florida State
They love drafting DE tweeners and starting them at OLB, and this year won't be any different. Wimbley would fit nice with Lewis and Suggs.
Philadelphia: Winston Justice OT USC
They are getting up there in age as far as their oline is concerned, and with Andrews not turning out as they liked at Guard, they are going to take another shot at a linemen by drafting Justice as the future LT.
Denver: Chad Jackson WR Florida
It could really be a toss up between Jackson or Holmes, but they need a WR and they will pick the best two, cuz the dropoff in talent is huge after them.
Miami: Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State
Whoever Denver doesn't pick lands here as far as WR are concerned. They could also go OLB with Sims or Greenway, but I think they will go WR here.
Minnesota: Chad Greenway OLB Iowa
They badly need a OLB and they will have their choice of Sims or Greenway.
Dallas: Ernie Sims OLB Florida State
They need a OLB and Sims is the right guy in their defense. He is fast which is what Parcells likes and he can attack the QB very well from the outside. Sims is definitely the way to go for Dallas. Lawson is an option too.
San Diego: Antonio Cromartie CB Florida State
They need a CB now that they shipped Sammy Davis out the door, and they will take the best CB available. They will have to choose between Cromartie, Hill or Joseph....but Cromartie has it all, speed, size and cover skills.
Kansas City: Tye Hill CB Clemson
Kansas City will pick defense again, and picking a CB is the way to go. Hill is considered by some to be the best pure cover guy in the draft, with his size as the only negative.
New England: Bobby Carpenter OLB Ohio State
This pick makes sense, and as much as I hate watching two OSU guys go to division rivals, I think it will happen. Carpenter is a great linebacker and he is a Belicheck guy. He is going to be in NE come saturday.
San Francisco: Manny Lawson OLB North Carolina State
They officially feel very good about making the trade to acquire this pick. They got their big offensive weapon earlier and drafted the guy to place Peterson in their 3-4 scheme.
Tampa Bay: Jonathan Joseph CB South Carolina
Their CBs are getting older and bringing in Joseph to play the nickle for the next year or two makes sense. This is a great pick for them.
Cincinnati: Donte Whitner CB/FS/SS Ohio State
Cincy nees to improve their defense, especially their pass defense, and they will most likely draft Whitner to play safety.
New York G: DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis
This pick would have been a OLB before they signed Arrington, but its time to think future, and with Barber getting up there in age, they can not pass on Williams after he falls this low.
Chicago: Jasen Allen CB/S Tennessee
They like his versatility, and they need some secondary help. They just signed Manning Jr. and traded their vetern safety Green, so drafting Allen and putting him at safety makes sense here.
Carolina: LenDale White RB USC
They want a big bruiser of a running back to take the place of Stephen Davis and to compliment Foster's quick/slash type running, and White is the pick here.
Jacksonsville: Tamba Hali DE Penn State
They need a pass rusher along their line that can consistently get to the QB, and Hali would fit into their system.
New York J: Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota
They will be ecstatic that he falls this low. He is the RB of the future when Martin finally hangs them up, which should come in a year or two. This pick is perfect for them after they take Williams to replace Abraham.
Indianapolis: Joseph Addai RB LSU
They wanted to get Maroney here, but when he goes earlier, they will reach a bit and take Addai. They need a RB and they won't wait till the bottom of teh 2nd to take a someone else. This is where need is really shown to dictate a pick.
Seattle: Leanard Pope TE Georgia
They don't have much needs, but they didn't get as much out of the TE position as they would have liked last year, and even though Stevens came on late, he was lackluster in the playoffs and has been most of his career. A big TE like Pope can really open up the pass offense for Seattle.
Pittsburg: Richard Marshall CB Fresno State
This will be a very good value pick for Pitt. Marshall is a great CB prospect and they will be happy that he is there when they pick.
No suprise here. All this talk about Williams or trading down is just crap talk. Bush landing in Bush country.
