When its our turn to pick, if Davis is off the board, the Bills trade down and draft a player we havent even thought of as a target.

When Marv said, "I think the guy we're looking at will be there 4 spots down" it had to rule out Ngata, Bunkley, and Huff. Plus they been talking too openly about some of these guys.

Watch us draft the top CB or something.

Winston Justice ??

Modrak said he isn't a top 10 pick and wasn't worthy of a number 8 selection but didn't say he wasn't a top 20 pick and that they weren't still interested in getting him , he fits the biggest team need and his stock has been on the rise.

just a guess.

Manny Lawson? He's undersized, but he can sure get up feild in a hurry and isn't that what we're looking for? just a thought.

He has also said that you need multiple DT's these days to rotate them in and out. (we have one new hire and one probable second teamer). Marv will probably say many things as part of the deception plan- including what he thinks most likely. We will know more on Monday. I will give my prediction then.

WHY do consistantly talk about Davis as if we would want him. WE HAVE A TE already. We don't need him. Would he be an upgrade? We DON'T KNOW because Everett hasn't played yet! I wish people would wake up and realize that the way to fix ur team is in the trenches.

this is retarded. yes he will be better than everett, if only for the fact that he can actually play. and while you need to fix the trenches there are 7 rounds to this draft, unless they changed it without telling me. the first round should not be spent on passing on a special player at a position where you have royal, maybe everett, and euhus to take a player that isn't as good

I don't think that TE is a need for this team. Davis would be a great pick up, if and only if our other areas where addressed first. In other words, I don't see us taking Davis in the first unless miracle happens.

Im all for beefing up the lines, but I have no desire to reach with the 8th pick with the lineman that will be available. They all have to many question marks. Im not looking at Davis as a TE Im looking at him as a talented freak of nature, those kind of guys are rare, so if you have the chance to get one, then you have to pull the trigger even if it wasnt a position of need.

We should have done something about the lines in FA'ncy. Then we all wouldnt be spazing out about getting line help through the draft.

I posted in another thread that Davis wants to go to a big city team. He mentioned Oakland or SF. This was in an interview on ESPN Radio. So even if, and it is a big if, we do draft him I think he would hold out because he doesn't want to play in Buffalo. I say pass on him and get some help where we really need it...on the lines.

I always think I know what Buffalo is gonna do in the draft and usually am thrown for a loop on draft day. Last year I was praying for Big Ben to fall to us but it did not happen, so close.

From what he said, he wants to play in a big city. For some reason I can see him acting like Eli a couple of years ago and only wanting to play for certain teams. He is talented, but from the impression I got listening to him, I would stay clear of him if I were drafting for the Bills.

The only retarded thing is going for Davis at the 8 pick. WE DON't NEED ANY MORE SPECIALTY PLAYERS, GET SOME GUYS THAT CAN Strengthen the lines, JEEZ
