What everyone...or at least the mock drafts that I seen are forgetting about is that Detroit needs a Qb, Kitna is not the long term answer for them...this could help the Bills tremedously because its almost certain that Cutler or Young should be avaiable at #8. with Detroit picking #9..this could allow the bills for an easy trade with either Arizona or Minny who need a QB to leap frog the Lions.

I feel that the Bills will trade down, still get Bunkley or Ngata and pick up some extra 2nd round picks. I think this si something alot of people forgot about

Kitna can very well play another 2-3 years, and they've still got Josh McCown. They could draft a quarterback in the 2nd or 3rd round and let him develop.

I definitely think McCown is the "qb of the future" for the Lions . . .Kitna will work in the interim.

I cant see Detroit drafting a QB

Millen doesnt have that luxary w/ his job on the line

My guess is he is going to pick a player he can start from day one and have an impact. IMO that guy is Huff and if hes there I think there taking him. Others they might consider are Bunk, Hawk(prob wont be there), Justice

no way millen is picking a qb. he's picked 3 straight wr's. even if rogers, millen can't wait 3-4 years for a rookie qb. kitna will start, martz will eventually be comfortable with mccown, and he'll be starting in detroit in 2 years. the lions won't be going offense in the first round.

Detroit will pick another receiver, maybe they'll go for chad jackson. Just to keep with tradition........

I hope everyone realizes I am kidding

I don't think Detroit will take a QB either, but it could work in Buffalo's favor even if that is not their intention. Teams below Detroit don't know Detroit won't draft a QB. Millen is erratic enough that other teams can't be sure what he'll do. That may be incentive enough for a team below them who needs a QB to make the trade with Buffalo.
