I cant give the exact quote be/c its from Insider but I can sum it up

-He says the Bills have Ngata rated above Bunkley
-He says Ngata spent most of his time as in a 4-3 DT/NT spot at Oregon and would be asked to fill a simular roll here
-He says Marv has concerns regarding Bunkley's off-the-field issues and also worries about him adjusting to the cold winters in Buffalo
-Then he says the Bills not sold on drafting a defensive tackle with their first-round pick they are seriously consider drafting Texas DB Michael Huff if he's available

What off the field issues does Bunkley have? Like eating too much at Hoss' like Ngata?

I saw all of that too.

After reading this stuff along with my reactions from the press confernce and it sounds like Huff in a landslide to me.

I don't think they pick Ngata or Bunkley.

"He was arrested in January of 2003 for petty theft (stole a video game from Wal-Mart) and was forced to pay a fine and complete 16 hours of community service."

I found this on the espn draft website. Just click on Bunkley's name (on the Big Board) and a overview comes up. This is the first time i heard anything about this. Granted it is not a horrific crime, but it does raise some character issues. I didn't really like him much in the first place, now i'm reallly not sold on him in the 8th spot. Huff or Ngata. That's the only two the Bills should be considering, as far as i am concerned.

each day, i am feeling huff more and more. i think with his speed, you put him at free safety and hope he can give you a presence like ed reed brings.

getting vincent off the field on every down would also be a big plus. i think he'd be much better served in a nickel role. and if we're going to play cover 2, he can play a corner, depending on what happens to clements.

i think trading down is a possiblity if the right deal comes up. if huff is gone, and they aren't sold on either dt i could see a move down and them possibly targeting manny lawson, chad jackson, justice, or mangold depending how far they dealt down.

i know chad jackson fills 0 holes and quite possibly doesn't start. he already has a pro body, great work out numbers, and would be a natural fit from urban meyer's system to fairchild's.

It's Ngata or Huff. Both fit, both have tremendous upside and both are high character guys.

Top ten picks must be made on special players. If we had taken Ed Reed instead of Mike Williams.......Huff is the way to go. I do like Marv's thought process about Florida guys in the cold. I agree with that theory. Unfortunately Huff is not a cold weather guy.

J Kelly was miami guy and found a way to throw the ball in the worst winter conditions imaginable. All Bunkley has to do is get after the QB and help stop the run. We are not asking him to do anything he isn't capable of doing.

I think we are going to trade down and that means no Huff (even tho as you see I wish we took him), but I think it'll be either Bunk or Justice...

Concerns about ajusting to cold winters----this is the exact opposite of TD's draft philosophy of drafting all Miami guys.

I'm sure Roscoe Parrish being scared to go outside last year after the first snow fall influenced this new draft philosophy.

Im happy that Marv is not to high on Bunkley

I much rather Ngata

and I think Huff be an exciting player to watch right away.

lol, that was not cool! I remember hearing that and thinking of these chihuahua/papyian (sp?) puppies my folks had. We drove back home and encountered snow far before Buffalo. The looks on those dogs faces was priceless. Had to drag them out of the car so they could use the "restroom" outside. Sco brought that memory right back

If they draft Huff first, whats in the 2nd, a DT? Then we have to wait till the 3rd for OL. I dont know. I'd rather DT first, OL second and third. I just honestly think you can cover up a hole at safety easier then OL.

I'm just glad Justice wasn't mentioned. I don't think he's worth the 8th.

I'm hoping for Huff because he's versatile and I think we can get a DT later

Billy Shaw played at GA Tech and he's in the HOF.
