Bills interested in Cutler

Hot rumor of the week: The Buffalo Bills have become hot on Vanderbilt quarterback Jay Cutler. Word is the high-ranking members of the organization, which means owner Ralph Wilson and general manager Marv Levy, have taken a liking to Cutler. The interesting thing there is that the Bills used a first-round pick on J.P. Losman two years ago, which means if they picked Cutler it would be a sign that Losman's tenure is likely over. There was word that the Bills were shopping Losman, but they denied that emphatically. If the Cutler talk is true, they would have no choice but to send Losman packing.

If Ralph is involved don't be too surprised.My goodness I sure hope Modrak has control of the draft process.Nothing could be more frightening than thinking Ralph has the final say over whom is chosen.It could set this franchise back farther then ever imagined.I'm looking for my rosary beads as we speak.........

Be careful what you believe...there are a lot of smoke screens the weeks leading up to draft day. It was said that the Bills "guy" could be there 4 spots below them...meaning possibly cutler, but maybe they're looking for some extra draft picks.

If a team trades ahead of the Bills and picks Cutler that means another quality player will fall to us. Ideally all 3 qb's go ahead of Buffalo so someone we weren't expecting to be there will fall to us at #8.

Well, I also heard Mort say Ralph doesnt like Losman and was the reason Holcomb started the end of the season.

One thing that bothers me about Ralph is he steps in too much when it concerns the QB. I dont like that.

I don't remember Ralph getting invovled until after the season was over. I thought it was TD and Mularkey's decision. Plus i wouldnt believe some of those guys who kiss TD's ass, It could all be BS to make TD look better.


I really dont think Ralph will be involved. I think he will want to act like he is involved to make him feel like he is part of the decision making process.

No team will tip their hand before the draft. Rumors and spectulation will run heavy right up till crunch time. The only reason the Bills might leak they are interested in Cultler, is to warrant a trade. Marv will be drafting Defense unless the Brick is available!!
