View Full Version : It's worth saying again...Clements will be traded on Draft Day to the Saints...

We will shift 1st round picks with them and will also get a 4th or 5th from the Saints....
Just a hunch about the trade but it would make someone like Mario Williams available and if you think about Clements...we don't really need his punt returning any more...We have Parrish...
And he's a one great play ...two bad play DB ....always has been...always will be...We have a couple young DB's that might work.

as long as we're are pulling scenarios out of our bums let me present this:
trade nate to a team in the middle of the first.
sign charles woodsen
draft bunkley, and justice with the picks.....i doubt any of this will happen

Probably not goin' down, but you gotta love the avatar. If we could pull it off, it would shit all over my mock Bills drafts, but I would love Mario in Buffalo.

Nice, if we're to blow smoke, make it smoke signals... I also wouldn't mind taking a look at Ahmed Plummer (w/ an extensive physical) in your scenario. He could be a sweet nickel, or in best case scenario, he and Woodson, w/ Mcgee in nickel.

The trade will be with Denver. Our 8th for the 15th and 37th they just aqcuired!. That's why they traded their 22nd now. They are now ready to move upto around 8 i.e. check the value board. They will want either Davis or Cutler...which ever drops to 8.

clements to move up 6 spots. I would be pissed, you replace a pro bowl cb with an unproven but likely pro bowl de and we have to give up a high first rounder. Makes no sense

I'd do it, draft Mario with our 1st rounder, we could get Wrotten (A lot of ?marks) Rodrique Wright, Orien Harris, or Jonathan Lewis in the 2nd, Daryn Colledge with 3a, Fred Matua from USC with 3b, i think we would have to give them 1 of our 4th's also.

Sign Law or Woodson untill either Greer or King can get into the starting lineup.

To be honest this could happen and it wouldn't bother me in the least.Nate isn't anything to brag about and he may not be here next year anyhow. Why not maximize your return by moving him now and adding draft choices with which to build this team for the future?

Nate is not the unquestioned answer really he is quite replaceable, deal with it.If he even showed the slightest desire to relocate he should be dealt. If they don't want to be here why beg them? We need to build this team with the players that want to be here and want to see this franchise achieve. They have purged this club of most of the problem players but some still remain hopefully not for long.

huh how is Nate a problem player?
No one on our team could replace him all of our other corners are undersized and have little experiance.
If we went by your slightest desire not to be here philospy I bet a lot of players would have to be dealt then. We are not exactly that desirable

First of all I was just listening to ESPN radio with Mel Kiper and they did say that NO is looking to trade down and also said Dwight Smith is being shopped. So my trade is possible. This is how I could see it going. Nate and our 4th or 5th rounder we just received from Houston to NO for S-Dwight Smith and a switch of 1st round picks. I love Smith playing in the Cover 2. He was awesome at TB in the same defense. We could then draft Super Mario or D Brick with our 1st pick. Then go (DT,or OT), OG and DB with the rest of the 1st day picks depending on if we drafted D'Brick or Super Mario.
Another trade possiblity could be with SF. They need a DB and have 2 - 1st round picks. I think we can trade them Nate for the #6 pick. That would fill there need at DB with a Top Vet instead of an unproven Rookie and also they would be able to draft the LB they need to take Petersen's place with there other 1st round pick. We could then take V. Davis and my new fav player B. Bunkley (I want him even more the more I see him and read about him. He has a motor that does not stop and is a workout fanatic with unreal athletic ability for his size) with our 2 picks and then go OT, DT, OG and DB with the rest of the 1st day picks. I would prefer the trade with NO but would take either one. Trading Nate would open up enough money to sign both the 1st round picks in the SF trade. Give me your feedback? I can't wait for the draft.

I would prefer to sign him to a long term contract but if this is not possible than I would trade him for the #2 overall pick and two of our 3rd round picks. Then the bills could take D'Brickashaw Ferguson with the the first pick and Brodrick Bunkley with the second of the first round picks. This is a long shot and probably won't happen but would greatly improve our team. We would need to sign Charles Woodson in freeagency(if he is still available) to replace Clements or draft the best available cb with the 2nd round pick.

Clements cried and pouted last season like no other,in a time when he could have risen and lead this team he just faded farther and farther away as the season progressed. Now was he hurt or just plain messed in the head with the way the season developed? He is too good to perform the way he did. What was the reason?

Nate Clements is a damn good corner. A sure tackler with a nack for picks.(Aside from last year) But since we're in rebuilding mode, WTF...

Pipe dream.. Why would No want Clements if he is that bad like you say ?? Wouldn't the Bills be smarter to keep Nate and draft a top 10 guy..
The answer is yes !!!

terrence mcgee is not and i do not think he will ever be a number 1 corner. hes a hell of a kick returner and a decent number 2 corner. but he wont cut it as a number 1. and eric king. havent seen much of him. and i doubt hes ready for the number 2 spot.
if this does happen. then we must sign woodson
