Miller gets a Shutout

Watching that game yesterday (Saturday) night against the Habs was really a treat. What a high action game, even though the Sabres trailed off big time in the 2nd and most of the 3rd period. Montreal really took it to the Sabres and Miller really stepped up and had an amazing game. He let in the second goal really soon after the 1st one and it was a bad goal.. but the guy made about 25 huge saves and about half of them were amazing.

If Miller can give the Sabres that kind of goaltending throughout the playoffs, the Buffalo Sabres are going to really have a shot at Stanley Cup.

On our 51st win we get it... that means 50 games we allowed a goal or more and still won. I think that is kind of impressive itself.

He could have had it a lot sooner if his D would have helped him out in some of those games.

Congrats to the team. That was the one thing that really bugged me about going into the playoffs is that we didn't have a shutout.

Now that Miller got that, I think it will be huge for his confidence.. especially if he plays well against Carolina. The big win against Toronto, on Easter, last home game of the season... it's just frigging great and a great was to go into the post-season.
