I seen a special the other day on the History Channel about the McKinley assassination. I was just wondering where this expo was held? Anyone know? Was it in Deleware Park area?

"The Pan-American Exposition was held in Buffalo, NY from May 1 to November 2, 1901 on a 342 acre site between Delaware Park Lake on the south, the New York Central railroad tracks on the north, Delaware Avenue on the east, and Elmwood Avenue on the west. "

I've seen some close-up pictures of some of the structures and they appear to be made with materials that are only for temporary use.

On the other hand, the Buffalo Historical Society is in a building that was built for the Exposition.
