tom tancredo is one of the most reprehensible of the anti-immigration crew in congress - so check this out...

Undocumented immigrants helped remodel U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo's Littleton basement, two of the workers told The Denver Post.

The workers said they were among a crew of five or six people who labored for contractor Creative Drywall Design of Denver, creating a home theater with terraced seating, a billiards table and game area, and a bedroom for Tancredo, a Republican and one of the nation's most vocal immigration critics.

All but one of the crew were undocumented immigrants from Latin America, according to two of the workers. The Denver Post is not naming the employees because of the possibility that identification might lead to legal proceedings against them.

I didn't know Tancredo was supposed to check the ID of all workers working for contractors working on his house. Huh.

Hahahaha, they won't name the sources because they are afraid of legal retribution. How convenient. The employer states that all his workers are documented. I'm like AnEin, how is Tancredo supposed to know then? Launch an investigation before he hires a contractor? Kinda looks to me like the left wing attack machine has its sights the Congressman.

Immigration is NOT that hard a nut to crack. These morons are just letting partisan politics (on both sides) get in the way of progress.

It's a demand problem. It can't be solved from the supply side.

The US economy demands more workers. If there were no jobs for Mexicans they wouldn't come.

Simple solution: let in lots of really good, educated, hardworking Mexicans through legal immigration until they fill all the open jobs.

It would work much better than the current restrictive immigration policy that limits supply to the point where illegal immigration is a viable choice.
