In Puerto Rico this evening... undefeated Town of Tonawanda Heavyweight, "Baby" Joe Mesi retuns to the ring after two years out of boxing. He puts his 29-0 record on the line against a journeyman Ron Bellamy (14-4-4)

Good luck to Joe, hopefully a quick win and no injuries.
I say Mesi TKO 2 Bellamy.

he's gonna get his face smashed. If he looks anything like he did before the gap in fights recently he will get beat by anybody who is halfway decent.

I echoed that in Illis' OTHER Mesi returns thread. The only reason he wins is tomato cans rarely hit back.

He is still way out of fighting shape. He weighed in at 233 or something like that. Now that is down from the 270 that he weighed 10 months ago, but it's a good thing this fight is only lasting a round or two because he couldn't go much further in that kind of shape.

He's always been around 230
I posted twice because its relevant to both forums.

Actually I think Mesi has fought around 225 or so and those extra 5 pounds can make a big difference. Plus losing that much weight so quickly isn't great for you body.
