Week Thirteen Award Winners
OFFENSIVE AND OVERALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mark Steenhuis (Buffalo) – (2GP, 9G, 1A, 10Pts, 15LB) in two wins over the weekend, 13-11 over Minnesota and 18-13 over Rochester, Steenhuis scored nine goals and added one assist for a total of ten points, and collected fifteen loose balls.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Matt King (Portland) – (27 saves, 5GA) saved 27 of 32 shots on goal allowing only five goals in 51 minutes of play in an 11-10 win over San Jose. King entered the game with Portland trailing 5-0 in the first quarter.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK (Co-Winners)
Roger Vyse (Buffalo) – (2GP, 4G, 3A, 7PTS, 6LB) scored four goals and added three assists for seven points and collected six loose balls in wins over Minnesota (13-11) and Rochester (18-13) in Week Thirteen.

Brodie Merrill (Portland) – (2G, 2A, 4PTS, 23LB) scored two goals and added two assists for four points and scooped up 23 loose balls in an 11-10 home win over San Jose.

I would have never guessed Steiner was going to get Offensive Player. Nice to see he got overall, too.

Vyse being selected is great to see, about time he got some props from the league.
