As most of you know, AJ left the game early in the 3rd quater against Minnesota this past Friday and didnt return. He also didnt play on Saturday against the Knighthawks. Looks like he could miss up to 6 weeks. Heres a clip from the Buffalo News about it...

"The Bandits may be without third-year midfielder AJ Shannon for the rest of the season. Shannon, who came into Saturday nights action as the teams seventh-leading goal scorer with seven goals (sixteen assists) and 23 points, suffered an injury to his left knee in the closing seconds of the third quarter of Fridays game in Minnesota. Shannon said the knee buckled when Minnesota's Brock Boyle hit him while both were going for a loose ball. Shannon will undergo a MRI to access the medial collateral ligament this week. Bandits coach Darris Kilgour expects Shannon to be out four to six weeks."

Who do you guys think will step it up to fill in for AJ, or who should play in his spot? I'd like to hear your thoughts as we make the final run here before the playoffs!

I think your questions have already been answered there BR11. Looks like they found their person to replace AJ Shannon-the one who played in place of him orginially a few weeks back vs Toronto - Roger Vyse. As for other, looks like Jason Crosbie can fill the spot as well. So the Bandits are fine with AJ Shannon out - although hopefully he can come back - we can always use another outside shot in the lineup! (Also the guy who sits near me will be happy as he is a huge AJ Shannon fan!)

You raise an interesting topic. AJ will be out but who will Darris, Troy, and Dewey go with the remainder of the seaon and playoffs. Darris said last week that they will go with a set line up shortly, who will it be?

They dress 16 runners and 2 goalies....
