Not that it means anything, but with the QB deals going down and shifting teams priorities, CNNSIs latest mock draft has us selecting AJ Hawk, which would be a better pickup than any other projections I've seen.

Thoughts?

Runs a 4.4! Dudes an athlete. Sounds OK

I'd rather have Davis or Huff at the 8 spot if Williams and Ferguson are both gone.

I'd be pretty happy with hawk at 8

I would get giddy like a girl lmao j/k

I would be happy if we selected Hawk and would probably buy the jersey for the upcoming season.

Why in the "F" would anyone be happy with picking up Hawk. I mean don't get me wrong, the dude's a stud, but don't you all think our need is moreso at Strong Safety, QB and the Oline? Come on, a LINEBACKER? Horrible Bills mock draft if you ask me!

rrrrrrrrrrright, why pick the best defensive player in the draft at a position where you have a linebacker trying to come back from an achilles tear, a mlb who is ont he wrong side of 30, posey, who just can't play, and crowell who is a player

you can get ss help later in the draft, in the 3rd round you can draft anthony smith from syracuse who should step in and be fine

Yeah, but you don't pass on a guy like AJ Hawk. He could be the next Ray Lewis... he's an intense dude.

Best Player Available... it's a no brainer. You have to think long term here. Besides, a good SS can be found in the 2nd or 3rd. D'Brickashaw is gone, no other OLineman that good at 8.

Hawk is a future Defensive MVP. He's so versatile.

Not our biggest need (Not a need at all)

but I can argue against him. He is going to be a stud. We would need to get rid of one of our backers though to free up money.

I like the fact that we are guaranteed a stud (Deep Draft) or we can draft down and get more picks, so we are in a good win win spot.

Plus, we wont be paying top 5 money for a top 5 talent.

to focus on need while ignoring the best player at that spot is just stupid

RB wasn't the biggest team need when we picked mcgahee but now henry is gone and he is one of the best in the league,
even though we already have players at LB you have to take hawk if no one else is there.

There is no way Hawk gets by G.B.

He is a Player that the Org can sell as the B.Farve of the defense and they need OLB's

I could live with him provided the Bills are able to fill their need positions.

Fergusen, Williams, Hawk and Davis are players that you don't pass on.

Hawk would be awesome he is a tackling machine what else do you need.As long as Free Agency provides the help on the D-Line this would be great.Green Bay just might be drafting a quarterback they need a lot could trade out of this spot also so we might get a shot at Hawk.

GB took a qb with their first pick last year, they won't do it again.

So San Fran just signed Jennings to a GIANT contract last season, but they will draft D'Brick? Hmmmmmm

Hawk is not really a need but he is gonna be a great player. I do think as a team we would be better off drafting a need position, but would not complain with Hawk.
