Not a bad start to free agency. Kinda surprised Buffalo has been this active, to be honest. This is a Donahoe "quick strike" type of thing. I wonder if we have enough room to get Picket or Bernard. If so, we'd look really good at D-Line, and could then address the O-Line in the draft.
Or get the next Bruce Smith by trading up to get Mario Williams.

I would love to sign Bernard... but I also think that we need to really grab some offensive line help. I think that the top of the draft is changing a lot depending on which teams sign which FA

I want to do a Cleveland Brown and snatch Darren Howard from the Eagles, then I'd like to go after Ryan Pickett, Archuleta walked from DC.

Nope, didn't see it coming at all.
Some are now saying that with Kampman and KGB signed in Green Bay, they are now likely looking to take Haloti Ngata at the 5 spot, or trade down a few spots with Buffalo or Detroit and hope to still get Ngata.
The problem with all of this is the Brees signing (if he ends up in New Orleans), and the fact Vince Young is sliding down. So there goes picks that everyone thought would be qb's, something we don't need or at least aren't drafting, and now will be something we do need.
So Bush goes 1, then Ferguson or Williams at 2 to New Orleans, then Leinart to Tenn, then Ferguson or Williams to the Jets...GB takes Ngata maybe?
I'm rooting for the Dolphins to get Brees rather than N.O. for draft purposes. He's good, but I still think we can take them if we shore up our lines and Losman plays decent.

If the teams in front of us do not pick the QB's our number 8 pick becomes more valuable from a trade back perspective.
