If the Bills sign another free agent Defensive Tackle - I think the will take a shot at trading up for Mario Williams - I think Levy does not want to pass up any chance at getting another Bruce Smith. The will address OL in FA and the lower rounds of the draft

good theory. Even if we don't sign another DT, Tripplett, Edwards, and a second or third round pick would suffice. Rome wasn't built in a day, we could add another DT next to Tripplett next year, but a player like Williams will NOT be available next year.

Couldn't have said it finer myself...Mario would instantly improve the D-line, and the two ends (Schobel and Mario) would benefit from each other's production. I would LOVE to see this beast of a man in a Bills uniform, and with the signing of Tripplett, I think Edwards can step it up and those two can produce. With Mario, this line would be unstoppable

What do you think we would have to give up to get a shot at Williams? It wont come cheap that’s for sure. With that said it does seem tempting. A guy like that would do wonders for our defense and would be a great fit in the cover 2. I just can’t see Buffalo trading up though.

On the buffalo bills website they quote Marv saying that he wants to put a bigger guy next to Tripplett. I kind of thought that alluded to Ngata. “That’s reading in between the lines though”

the "you can't build Rome in a day" quote is right on, we need to think long term here.

Schobel, Triplet, Picket and Williams would change the entire complexion of the team. Trade our 1st and 3rd to move up? Our second and 3rd for OL? Bring in a FA offensive linemen. We would have something then. And it is achievable.

Thats exactly what I was thinking - 1st and 3rd this year and maybe a 2nd next year move up to the 4th or 5th spot just ahead of GB - that would give the Bills a pretty soild defensive line
