I haven't posted in a while, but I decided to throw together a consensus top 10 and I needed somewhere to post it, so why not the best message board on the planet? I found 25 mock drafts on the internet and based off those to put together a top 10. This includes numerous people's personal made up mocks and "professional" (Mel Kiper) mocks. I figure all of them have the same probability of being right, so I didn't weigh them at all. Here's how it turned out:

1. Houston - Reggie Bush (23 of 25)
2. New Orleans - Matt Leinart (22 of 25)
3. Tennessee - Vince Young (12 of 25)
4. NYJ - D'Brickashaw Ferguson (13 of 25)
5. GB - Mario Williams (14 of 25)
6. SF - AJ Hawk (10 of 25)
7. Oakland - Michael Huff (3 of 25) [Young 7 / Hawk 5 / M Williams 3]
8. Buffalo - Haloti Ngata (12 of 25)
9. Detroit - Jay Cutler (4 of 25) [Michael Huff 10]
10. Arizona - DeAngelo Williams (7 of 25)

As you can see, outside of the top 2, no one is really that sure of anything. Michael Huff appeared most for Detroit, but because Oakland is apparently so up in the air, Huff's 3 there was the most of the remaining players on the board.

Can't wait till the draft.

If the Saints end up with Brees then even the top 2 could be up in the air.

I think the Saints do take Brees off the market, my guess (that all any of this really is, but this is our nightmare top 8 picks) is:

1. Houston - Reggie Bush
2. New Orleans - D'Brick
3. Tennessee - Matt Leinert
4. NYJ - AJ Hawk
5. GB - Mario Williams
6. SF - Michael Huff
7. Oakland - Haloti Ngali
8. Buffalo - Trade out/down for someone wanting Cutler or ??
9. Detroit - Jay Cutler
10. Arizona - Vince Young

someone would then move up to take Vince Young, or we could take Vernon Davis or Bunkley.

GB just resigned Kampman, why would they take Williams?

GB just resigned Kampman, why would they take Williams?

All these mocks I used were made before free agency started. I bet a lot of outlooks on the draft are gonna change based on player moves teams make before then.

And now we signed the TE from Washington, so I don't think we'll be taking one in the draft, even though I think Vernon Davis would have been a great pick...next Heap or Gonzo.

Looking more and more like Ngata to me.
