first,it was allowing anyone to get a list of people you've called on your cell phone.

And now,under a proposed rule change from the IRS,if you go to one of the tax prep companies(i.e. H.R. Block and Jackson Hewitt),they can sell the information to a third party assuming they have your consent to do so. At least three consumer groups have moved to block the rule change,based on the concern that many could be pressured to sign the consent in the rush of getting the documents done.

Moral of the story: Just say NO to these jokers,buy some tax software,and do it your damned self! (My family does.)

Turbo Tax baby. And stop using cell phones and wireless phones if you're that paranoid.
