What do you think about buffalo taking Hawk?

He is one of the elite 8 IMO, I think he will be a special player.

Elite 8 are guys, IMO, that could be top 3 at their position once they hit their prime.

Bush, Leinart, Young, Brick, Vernon Davis, Michael Huff, AJ Hawk, and Mario Williams.

It just so happens we have the 8th pick, so one of them will be there. Ive never seen a draft with this many players with star potential. Normally there are 3 or 4 at most.

That would be a TD move. We have no need for Hawk. Crowell, Fletcher, and Spikes. That's a great LB core. There are so many more needs than LB. And don't bring up the Spikes injury issue, even without him there are still 2 good linebackers. O-line is pathetic, and D-line has one starter. Absoulutley no need for a linebacker.

What about next year when Spikes is a year older, still injured, and Fletcher is gone?

That's when they need to worry about linebackers. Not this year. Are you trying to tell me that you'd take a linebacker over o-line or d-line? If there isn't a good enough lineman at 8, the Bills have to trade. No way they can waste a pick on AJ Hawk.

haha..."waste" a pick on AJ Ahwk... the kid is gonna be the best LB in football in 3 years.....

There aren't any OL that are worth 8 besides D'brick....he'll be gone

There aren't any Dl worth 8 besides Mario.... he;ll be gone

To trade, you have to have a team willing to trade...I don't think that will be there unless Cutler falls to 8....

This isn't really an issue...Hawk is going before we pick, and if he is there at 8, we'll take him no doubt about it...

waste a pick on AJ HAwk.....cheerios just shot out of my nose.

Actually TD screwed up when he drafted for need (Mike Williams) not best player available, (McGahee, Evans). Clements was both.

Everybody is saying that there are 8 elite players in this draft. That should mean that trading away the 8th spot shouldn't be too difficult. Also, Ngata is worth the #8 pick, although he may not be for the Bills, just because of the switch to cover 2. You're probably right about him not being there at 8 too. I just think that taking him should be last resort if nobody else needed is there and a trade can't be worked out.

Im praying Mario Williams somehow falls.

Its possible. If Green Bay takes Hawk over Williams and SF takes Huff, that would leave Williams, Cutler and Vernon Davis for the Raiders.

Maybe someone trades up for Cutler.

My Board has

1. Fergusen
2. Williams
3. Davis
4. Hawk
5. Bunkley

Grabbing any of the top 4 at # 8 would be great, trading down adding a pick and getting Bunkley would be great then we could get Whitner in the 2nd.
