Democracy isn't the nice, stable, smooth waters we like to imagine it. It's an ebb and flow. Right now, conservative forces are in control. That is changing. In a few years, more liberal ones will be back. It creates a kind of sea-sickening balance that keeps things more or less straight.

Here is the way I see it... if there is ever a large scale earthquake in California, a gigantic tsunami that hits the US, a large scale bio/chemcial/nuclear attack againts the US, or Anartica and Greenland suddenly melt - thats when there will be riots, anarchy, and the revolution in the US. I thought I presented some very nice facts. I realize they don't fit with your over-dramatized spin on reality, but face it:

1. The "monarch" just got defeated on a major issue and is losing on others. He is about to be replaced.

2. His party is going to lose power to is polar opposite.

3. Bush is now a lame duck, something no monarch EVER is.

4. No matter what, this country will always have democratic elections and power will shift every 8-12 years. History supports this.

So keep whining your melodramatic, liberal, paranoid bullshit. It'll harmonize nicely with the insensitive, deluded, conservatice over-zealous bullshit.
