I was talking to my dad and he told me that he heard on the news that Mika was recalled. Anyone else hear this? Sorry if i has been posted. But if thats the case, someone is going to be delt.

I for one thought that Mika might be down in Rochester a bit longer. I know he was not going to be there for weeks and weeks, but maybe through the upcoming weekend...

I am sure that he is only allowed a certain number of games on conditioning assignment...so that could be it.

A conditioning assignment can only last up to 14 days. The plan all along was for Mika to play two games. He did.

When a player is on a conditioning assignment, he counts toward the active roster. This is basically just Mika coming back to practice with the Sabres. No big deal.

Don't give them too much credit for that game...Buffalo was a very tired team that night, especially in the 3rd period. Tuesday night's game will be very different.
