That's great news!!
Having never seen the NHL Network before, I'm curious if it's a 24-hour station and if they replay games throughout the day...and all year long?
Also, I didn't see any info about pricing or when it'll be available. ...hopefully DirecTV will carry the channel, too. Looking forward to hearing the details.

then scroll down-look at the right hand side and you will eventually get to see daily schedule-click on that and there you go!
