I noticed that Brenson Buckner was released from the Panthers. What is everone's thoughts of him in a Bills uni?

I'd love it. It'd be great if Mario Williams dropped to us, and then we sign Buckner. One can dream...

At 34 years of age I would rather not sign him

A reasonable 2, maybe 3 year contract would be nice at his age, if it's possible.

If we hadnt dropped Sam they would be a dynamic duo. Not worried about age. Defensive Tackles dont move much, so it's not like they lose their quickness.

Ouch. Men continue to grow until they are about 25-27 years old and then plateau until their mid-30's to 40 year old. (The metabolism changes about then and the beer belly begins). Humans have been around 100,000 years or so and for most of that time a 40 to 45 year old person was considered very old- typically most had died before that. I don't think there are that many years left for this guy and we would be better off spending for a younger player with potential to improve and be at the peak of his ability in 2-3 years, rather than somebody who would be in serious decline in 2-3 years.
