Houston has indicated they want to trade down.

If the Bills were smart they'd trade up for the #1 pick and get Leinart or Young. Losman might be good someday but it's several years off. I think he'd be better as the #2 in Buffalo or elsewhere. This would be an opportunity to get a franchise qb and the Bills shouldn't pass it up.

Totally backwards thinking. Stay put or trade down for MORE picks.

The Bills need offensive and defensive linemen, not rookie QB's.

trade up and draft mario williams. i love how everyone has given up on losman already.

when he was drafted scouts said he was 2 - 3 yrs from being a starter in the nfl, the dipshits running this organization handed the reigns over too early...then again i never liked the pick of losman in the 1st place, the dipshits screwed this up a long time ago.

i for one am not ready to just throw draft picks away, giving up on losman now would be doing that and if anyone considers after the limited amount of time that losman had this season that he is a bust then you are all in the wrong line of work.

Wow thats some crazy thinking. I mean id trade up a couple to get Freguson but other than that id actually trade DOWn cause I just don't see any real VALUE to who will be left where we pick.

To get the caliber of player like Mario Williams, that chance is once in a dacade. I would trade up to get him but only as high as the number four spot. He could add instant force and respectibility back to this defense.

are you serious........you cant give up on losman he has played only around 7 full games and only 2 training camps with a crappy o-line. Young and leinart would probably suck with our line and they would of done the same as losman with the crappy play-calling we had. Give losman 2 full years of starting and if he doesn't improve then get rid of him. I dont see how you can get rid of a player when he hasn't even started a full season.

stupid stupid thread!!!!

You are trippin'. Just what the Bills need. Another inexperienced QB to put behind a garbage offensive line that will go three-and-out and keep our defense, with no defensive line on the field to get smacked around like a crack-head hooker for four quarters.

Either they should stay put or trade up to get D-Brick Ferguson. If they stay put, Ngata or Vernon Davis. Yes, Davis. If Moulds is gone we need another offensive weapon to hit in the passing game. David Givins, Antonio "Hothead" Bryant and the other crop of FA WR's does nothing for me. Randle-El is cool, but he's not a number one option and is Lee Evans ready to be the number one option? With questions at QB?

I also wouldn't mind Mario Williams or Tamba Hali.

If we trade up, which will only cost more money towards the cap, we do it to get Williams, not a QB.

If we trade up, it'll be for Losmans bodyguard in Ferguson, or Mario Williams.

Think back to the great Bills teams of the early 90's and name the consistent MVP of that defense... suppose we'd ever have gone to 4 Super Bowls without a guy named BRUCE SMITH? Not a chance. From all reports, Mario Williams is the new millenium's version of Bruce. We need to figure a way to get him. Conventional wisdom says to move up to # 3 or 4, would involve swapping our #8 plus a 2nd or 3rd rounder and/or a current good player. Too good to be true if they bit on Moulds. Losman might be too early to give up on unless the Bills brass thinks Pat Ramsey is a better bet and pulls off a trade with 'Skins. Other than those 2, our most coveted would be Nate and Willis - and that IMO would be giving up too much. Your thoughts on what we need to give up to get Mario..?

What we do need to regain some repect is more picks and there's only one way to do that.More picks equal more players which equals depth which leads to stability.Stability is a step in the right direction

OK Drew. Stop hiding behind fna0356's screen name.

Drew, you shouldn't be worried about the Bills QB plans. You should be worried about getting punched upside you left side of your head by Keyshawn and the right side of your head by TO the first time you do one of your regular pat, pat, booms and one of these two prima donnas are wide open.

Now that is something to worry about rather than the guy who beat you out of your position in Buffalo only by potential since you stunk so bad for 2 & 1/2 years.

I mean id trade up a couple to get Freguson but other than that id actually trade DOWn cause I just don't see any real VALUE to who will be left where we pick.If you are gonna trade up a few spots, Ferguson is DEFINITELY the guy you take. Not Leinart, Young or even Bush. You have to have a solid O line to succeed in this league.

Cause the last time we took an Olinemen in the first round, it turned out to be a great pick :rolleyes2

I'd be happey with Mario Williams and i wouldnt mind Vernon Davis either. If moulds is cut then who do we have at the WR position? Evans then after that its sketchy to say the least. Parrish and Everett are still ? marks.

I wouldn't be opposed to trading next years 1st rounder along with a 4th or 3rd to get ourselves another pick in the late teen's of the 1st round. If we're feeling really ballsy, trade next years 1st with our 2nd this year to move into 10 or 11 and pick up two playmakers. This is all depending on who is there at 8 and after that ofcourse.
