Tom Modrak, an assistant general manager with the Buffalo Bills, was the general manager with the Eagles when the team signed the offensive tackle to a six-year deal that included a $9.5 million signing bonus.
Modrak believes Runyan, even at 32, has a lot left in the tank and will be an appealing player on the free-agent market.

If that moves made, do you think he moves to LT?

I think he has to, b/c Peters should be allowed to continue developing at RT.

IMO if that move is made I think they are making it w/ the intention of moving Peters to the left side.
Whether or not that is the right move for Peters is up for Debate
Runyan is not built to be a LT and I dont think signing him and moving him there would be smart

I'd take him, he can't be any worse than what we've had

Wrong move, wrong move, wrong move. He just is to old. It is gonna take a minimum of half a season for the line to jell as a unit and I just would not want to see cap space taken up for a guy that is only goning to be productive for about two years.

i dont think it would be a bad move if the price is right
He could be a role model for the Younger guys teaching them how to maintain a mean streak

Not to mention that he's been an average pass blocker at best the last few years.
