Is there any other player in the history of the NBA that has dropped so far and as fast as Penny Hardaway?
He was once considered one of the top 5 players in the NBA
Now he is anything more than 9th man off the bench

In terms of still playing, no? But Grant Hill is just as bad a disappointment due to his injuries. I really liked his game, though I hate the Pistons, and don't care much for the Magic either.

Back in the day Penny was my favorite player who wasen't a Rocket. He had the complete package. He could score 20+ a night set up his teammates, rebound well for a guard and play great D. He was destened for greatness but then the knee injuries began and would not stop. It's sad though because we will never know how good he could have been.

I remember Penny left the Magic, now the Magic returned the favor.
