that's just a fact.

Britain's men's curlers face the United States in the bronze-medal play-off in Pinerolo on Friday (1200 GMT) in an attempt to win Team GB's second medal of the 2006 Games.

If they succeed it will be Britain's second straight curling medal after Rhona Martin and co won gold in Salt Lake City in 2002.

The Americans beat the Brits 9-8 in the round robin stage at Turin but David Murdoch's men are desperate for revenge.

How in the hell did Canada lie four twice in the bronze medal match today?!?!

Maybe just as impressive, Canada men score six (should have been seven-overshot the final stone) in the sixth end in route to a 10-4 rout of Finland (match ended after eight ends) to win the Gold Medal. Nice day for North American Curling!

Boo award goes to USA Network for not showing the medal ceremony LIVE. While it was going on (CBC was showing it LIVE so I know it was taking place) USA Network decided to show the final two ends of the United States bronze medal win. You show all that curling these past two weeks and don't bother to show the medal ceremony LIVE? especially when the United States is involved in it due to their bronze medal win! (They did the same thing earlier this week with the womens ice hockey-although there they showed an edited piece an hour later-maybe its something against Canada? LOL!)

They are replaying the Gold Medal final later at 5:00 pm ET on CNBC. Since the match ended early (only eight ends), they should have plenty of time to show the complete medal ceremony with the giving of the medals/national anthem etc. Hopefully they do show it-otherwise it will be a bad ending to what was some outstanding coverage of Curling at these Olympics.

The Two Dons Rule!

Congrats once again to the United States in capturing the bronze and congrats to our friends up north-Canada-for winning the gold!

What a great day for North America curling!
Can't wait for the Worlds in March (Womens) and April (Mens)

USA! USA! USA!
