My opinion on the trade if it goes down is this, They should take the "New York" off the front of the jersey and just put "Suckers" across the front

Everyone in N.Y. is saying that Larry Brown is the one who pushed hard for the trade

Hey they got Francis, hes good. Atleast they got rid of Hardaways contract, it was like 14 mil or something and he averages like 1 point a game.

Its not that bad, but for the knicks situation, it doesnt help...adding another self-absorbed point guard won't do much in terms of success for the team

the knicks now have 3 guards who are relatively the same player. if another move isnt on the horizon i dont see how this helps the knicks. larry brown is overrated imo and isiah just plain sucks.

The Hardaway contract is where the Knicks screwed themselves. It is an expiring contract and held alot of trade value. It was one of the few assets they had

No one is debating whether or not Francis is a talented player, he clearly is. The problem is, his contract that has 4 years and about 48 million remaining on it and the fact that the Knicks have a player on the roster that is exactly like him in Marbury. The Knicks have no need for a guy like Francis or his contract

Being a Bulls fan I could care less about the Knicks but the move is still mind boggling

Talk about stupid, because that's exactly what this deal is. You already have Marbury and suck. So why do you think adding another Marbury type player will make you any better? Now they have (including Crawford) 3 guys who are all the same player and they are still missing the most important thing (defense).

The sad part is that they have talent up front (Curry, Frye) but with all the selfish gaurds on the roster (Q, Franbury, and Crawford) they will never see the ball.

I heard they wanted the Penny contract(and Frye) so it might be dead now

Plus, it blocks Nate Robinson.

LOL at this trade. I don't see how Isiah sees this as "making them beter now and for the future..." That means their (most likely) going to use a 3-guard set in Marbury, Francis and Crawford, along with (I'm not sure with their lineup but I think) Curry and Frye. Man this is dumb, and probably makes Marbury really happy...not.

I just dont understand what the Knicks are going to trade Minny for K.G.

I cant see them wanting Marbury or Francis w/ there big contracts and lack of winning that follows them.

The Knicks dont have a good 1st rounder for the next 2 years. The Bulls own the pick out right this year and can swap picks in 2007

I can see Minny wanting Frye but its going to take more than that. There not going to want Crawford hes overpaid. Nobody wants J.James or Q.Richardson and there contracts

The only way I'm sending K.G. to New York is if the knicks are sending me Frye, Curry and there 1st rounders till 2011
