His pompousness and assness has nothing to do with those guys.
His statements regarding SportsCenter and his colleagues, then Ken Burns' Baseball series were enough to qualify him well before he ever got his big MSNBC gig.
Not everything is always politics vs. politics. Sometimes people are just pompous asses, regardless of their political affiliation or leanings.

Coach:
1. I didn't know that questioning Ken Burns' conclusions in "Baseball" qualified one as a a-hole,considering he's a fan and historian of the sport(he's a member of SABR(Society of American Baseball Research)).
2. If Keith had made anti-ESPN statements, then why is he co-hosting Dan Patrick's radio show on a weekly basis?

ken burns' "baseball" was a very crappy documentary.
but olbermann is pompous. that's undoubtable... and it's part of the reason that his show is entertaining.

He said that SC was a good show, but "it's better when I do it."
Pompous.
Hey, I don't like the arrogance the guy displays, especially considerng I don't think he has anything to be arrogant about.
And the fact that he actually dated Rebecca Lobo creeps the hell out of me.

enjoyed every minute.
Me too.
I used much of it in my 11th grade American History class this year when we got to the unit.
Obviously, several kids were bored out of their mind (but those were the same that usually are). But many of them loved it and got a lot out of it, I think.

His show isn't watched by anyone, he's taking shots at Cable's #1 rated name and its quite pathetic. I don't disagree with a lot of Olberman's positions, but he is nobody in the news market and never will be. O'Reilly crushes him and has the ear of half or more of America.

So why,in the "money demo",is Countdown's viewership up about 30% and the Factor down about 20% since last February? And he also pointed out,in O'Reilly's recent diatribe about NBC's cable networks being in the tank, that USA(which is part of NBC Universal)finished AHEAD of Fox News. Well ahead,in fact.

No one on this board could love Keith Olbermann as much as Keith Olbermann.
It's been a long, long time since I've seen someone that impressed with himself.

Olbermann's ratings are below a 1.0 where O'Reilly is at 2.0. O'Reilly dropped from 2.3 so even with his socalled jumpof30% he is lagginghorribly behind. No one watches Olbermann.

USA is back because of WWE. Its a fact. Raw on Mondays gets its highest rating by more than 3 to 1. Two 4.5s the last 2 weeks as well, which is cable's highest rating overall.

LOL!
O'Reilly is a total douche.
Who cares what kind of ratings the guy has.
Typically the shows with the highest ratings on TV are the worst ones.
Ratings do not reflect the quality of programming, but rather the stupidity of the average viewer.

I wish you were too.
But we're none of us perfect.
Especially people who defend Bill O'Reilly: king of douches.
Did you see that stupid-ass war on Christmas campaign he ran?
The guy is like "Merry Christmas" is unoffensive & I agree with him there. It's an innocuous pleasantry & people shouldn't be bothered by it. I got kind of relieved, thinking he's finally making sense.
But then he turns around & claims "Happy Holidays" is extremely offensive.
I just slapped my forehead & let it slide.

O'Reilly can't be King of douches, not when men like Harry Reid, Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney, Sean Hannity, Al Franken, Phil Donahue and Tom Donahoe still walk the Earth.
