The trade has been rejected by the Kings because Artest doesn't want to play for Sacramento.

Wow, Sac rejects the trade. I would too. Who else does Sac have? Aretest wouldn't be that much an improvement.

Artest is exactly the type of guy that would be a good fit for the Lakers,assuming that Mitch Kupchek ever decided to make the deal.

Yeah,but he's having his worst season in about 5 years. Maybe a change of scenery will do him good.

both players needed to move on so this trade is good in that sense. Artest is the better all around player, but once you weight in his "issues" then it's a toss up. Peja will never be the defender and power player Artest is, but he can shoot lights out, run the floor, handle the ball good, and play within a system.
This is a great trade for the Pacers and a good one for the Kings only if Artest gets his act straight.
