Not to burst your bubble, but they have no chance at winning the national title. They will get into the tournament, and maybe even knock off a top seeded team, but they just aren't good enough to consistently beat the big boys yet.

Wait a minute... North Dakota is ahead of Niagara university? How is that possible? I'm new to this NCAA hockey stuff, but since a lot of stars are starting to come out of the US (12 players from the US are slated to go in this years first round) I thought I might aswell start watching. How does the standing breakdown who are the best programs?

How does the standing breakdown who are the best programs?Similar to NCAA Basketball in that the better conferences get weighted heavier. NU is only in their 10th Div. I season and they were Independent up until a couple years ago. College Hockey America's champion just started getting an automatic bid. Basically the CHA is almost like the MAC.
