I thought coaches of teams still in the playoffs weren't allowed to interview for jobs.

they are, they just cannot be hired until the playoffs are over.

Ast. Coaches still in the playoffs had a window of one week to interview for jobs. The week between Wild Card and Divisional Round games. That's this week! So, he's allowed to interview up until tomorrow (Saturday). After that, they have to wait until either they are eliminated or win the SB to be interviewed.
