Buffalo is waging a "war for survival," the city's incoming development chief said Monday, one day before he and four other mayoral nominees were expected to win easy confirmation in the Common Council.

More of the same old same old.....Byron Brown is a career poltician who did nothing at the State level....AND I MEAN NOTHING.....he has, for the most part, reinstated the players from the Masiello era....Buffalo STILL lacks qualified people in city hall....while I like to be optimistic about our future, I remain, until proven otherwise, highly sceptical of Buffalo's current leadership....I am so tired of pomp and circumstance

so far buffalos fight for survival is all talk look at syracuse and their now bust destiny usa project what they have out of all those talks is a crappy mall thats falling apart and a bunch of politicains who have no vision. kinda sounds stay the course for new york state. as long as nyc stands the rest of the state can go to hell the unwritten plan of george pataki.
