11-1 overall
1-0 conference
#38 Coaches Poll
#38 AP
Even though their schedule is weak, if they keep winning against these powder puffs, they're going to crack the Top 25. Can anybody else remember the last time a WNY college hoops team was in the top 25 in either poll?
I'm excited.

I went to the game the other night againts Eastern Michigan. UB kept hitting the 3s the first half. But it was not UB's best game, but EM is not so good.

Not sure if they're the last, but St. Bonaventure was ranked in the Top 25 for a week or two in 2000.

Dear Mr. Witherspoon, do not let Calvin Cage take the last shot of the game anymore.Twice Cage had a chance to win or tie the game yesterday and twice he missed. He could have won it in regulation and missed forcing OT and then could have tied it with a two or won it with a three in OT and missed. So please try someone different next time when the game is on the line.
Thanks,
A concerned fan.
On to Toledo, where the Bulls have NEVER won.

I thought Moore took the shot - three pointer - at the end of overtime which was partially blocked and fell short. (Edit: UB press release confirms Moore took the final shot.)
As for Cage, rather have him take the shot when the game is on the line (he has won games for us in the past - Niagara) then some of other shooters. So he missed a clutch shot - glad we know he is human. It did sound like he rush the shot at the end of regulation though - was taken with a sec or two left. Hey he did get 26 pts in the game and was 10 for 10 on the line unlike others who had a tough day shooting on and off the line.
Don't be concern, we will bounce back at Toledo - yeah we never won there but this season is a time for change so we will win.
Go Bulls!

UB loses again, @Toledo only 16 FREAKIN points in the 1st half, they deserved to lose. Although they droped 54 in the 2nd half, so maybe they did. Either way their 1-2 in the MAC, which isnt good.
